Fiji part one :-)

We landed in Nadi early in the morning at about 5.30 on Wednesday. We were picked up by the hostel and taken to where we would be staying; Bamboo hostel. It was a peaceful hostel by the beach and we waited around for a few hours in the sun until we could check in.

Our room was a bit like a hospital with rows of single beds on each side. It needed a bit of a clean. The showers had clumps of hair and the beds needed a clean underneath. We chilled out for our first day, making good use of the hostels cafe. There wasnt alot to do around where we were so we spend many days sunbathing, walking along the beach and eating.

On our second day we went on the "town tour" which consisted of being left in a gift shop for almost an hour and walking through a market to get the bus back. Not so great but apparently that was all there was to see. We soon learnt fiji was for the people with more money than us. There were lots of divers and people doing water sports.

We booked a few nights on an island called Taveuni which was the third biggest island on the East side of the main island.

We spent the days leading up to this island trip just chilling out and also doing some laundry. The weather was lovely so it wasn't hard to spend hours at a time reading in the sun.

On monday morning we left for Taveuni...
